City 3–0 United

Manchester United’s Derby Defeat: A Harsh Reality Check
Another big game. Another heavy loss. And honestly, the worrying part is that we never looked in control after the first 15 minutes.
First Half: Promising Start, Then Collapse

The match started at full speed. Haaland had a chance in the first minute, and both teams went end to end in the first 15.
We had a decent effort from Šeško outside the box, and Bruno and Ugarte pressed well, creating some early half-chances.
Then, in the 17th minute, Doku dribbled past Luke Shaw, who was just standing still. The ball deflected off Ugarte, bounced back to Doku, who found space to cross it in. Foden met it with a sharp header.
City 1-0 United.
From there, things slipped quickly.
By the 26th minute, we had just over 30% possession, and you could feel the control shifting entirely to City.
Second Half: Wide Open and Outclassed

Doku was running the show.
In the 53rd minute, he slipped a perfect pass to Haaland, who chipped it over Bayındır. It was a clean finish, but again, I felt Lammens should’ve been tested for games like this.
City 2-0 United.
United looked lost.
Dorgu was getting into good areas, but every final ball or shot was off.
Ugarte had a poor outing especially the back pass to De Ligt, which led to a dangerous chance for Haaland. Could’ve been a hat-trick, but he missed the one-on-one.
We had a small chance in the second half when Dorgu crossed into the box, and Mbeumo tried a scissor kick but Donnarumma saved it comfortably. He showed exactly why he was one of the best keepers in the Champions League.
After that, City caught us pushing too high.
Bernardo Silva floated a pass to Haaland, who was already racing past Maguire near the halfway line. You know how that ends.
Haaland finishes with his left into the bottom corner.
3-0 City. Game done.
The Numbers Don’t Tell the Whole Story

We somehow ended with more possession and 1.51 xG, but it never felt like we were in the game.
Dorgu and Mbeumo were solid.
But the midfield issues showed again.
The backline was poor, and Bayındır didn’t convince.
Bruno got a decent SofaScore rating, but in real time, he didn’t influence the game much.
Post-Match Reactions

Amorim said after the game:
“I am NOT going to change. When I want to change my philosophy I will change. If not, you have to change the man.”
That’s a strong quote.
But if we lose against Chelsea next, I really think the board will act, especially with the international break coming up.
INEOS may feel this is the right time to pull the trigger.
Final Thoughts

Doku, Haaland and Donnarumma were the difference.
We were disjointed, sloppy in midfield, shaky at the back, and lacking conviction in goal.
A really disappointing day for the reds.
Let’s see what happens.
Till next time
YANITED. YANITED. YANITED.
